"My work explores inner and physical space.

I paint states that cannot be measured

or fully explained-

moments that appear as image, color, or line,

and what remains when meaning fades."

INNER LAndscapes

"These works move between abstraction and subtle traces of landscape. Color, texture, and shifting forms create spaces that feel both external and deeply internal. These kinds of landscapes suggest emotional and psychological spaces where color, texture, and form reflect human states of mind and inner experience. Rather than describing a specific place, the works evoke memory, atmosphere, and the quiet landscapes we carry within ourselves."

Threshold

“Threshold,” watercolor and ink painting (by contemporary artist Daniela Atanasova), with abstract architectural shapes and a stylized human figure in blue, surrounded by green, orange, and geometric forms suggesting transition or passage.

Human Presence

"I am drawn to the human figure as a space for emotional tension, psychological reflection, and symbolic relationships. The body becomes a quiet field where inner states, memory, and perception unfold. Through gesture, color, and layered marks, forms sometimes emerge clearly and sometimes dissolve into the surrounding space, suggesting moments where inner experience meets the visible world."

Dialogues of Form

"These works inhabit the open territory of abstraction, where shapes, color, and gesture enter into quiet dialogue. Forms appear, intersect, and dissolve across the surface, creating shifting relationships and subtle tensions. Here form, color, and gesture unfold as a language of emotion, inner perception, and symbolic resonance."

“Floating Lunar (after Isamu Noguchi),” a watercolor painting inspired by the sculpture Floating Lunar, featuring a suspended curved lunar-like abstract form with delicate hanging elements suggesting balance and quiet tension in soft tonal shading, artwork by the contemporary artist Daniela Atanasova.

Collected Fragments

"These works are formed through the collecting and assembling of small fragments—materials that carry traces of place, memory, and time. Shells, textures, and found elements enter into delicate relationships, creating intimate compositions where material presence becomes part of the image itself."
